It appears that I was going through a phase of starting layouts by finding old die cuts that I wanted to use. In this case, it was a sailboat. This was one of those die cuts you look at and think, “How in the world am I ever going to use that?” We don’t own a boat, live on the water, or go on vacation often. I purposely took a photo of this cargo ship just so I could use that little oval die cut piece.
These are more photos of our view of the water, this time during the day. It was so pretty. That boat wasn’t the only mode of transportation we watched as we sat there. We were also surprised by a quick fly-over by the Blue Angels as well. Of course it happened so fast, I have no pictures!
I chose my colors this time from that die cut. So I matted the photos on pink and picked out the navy and pink background paper from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection. I adore that collection. I also pulled that multi-color triangle paper. I like the repetition of triangles in a slightly larger print.
Again, this page is not overly embellished. (There is only so much room when you are using three 4×6 photos.) It just has 2 clusters on a diagonal. I made sure to repeat the nautical theme down below by using that little anchor. I also used a small colored dot in each grouping.
